Founder Anna Piland started in the wedding industry playing in quartets and trios around Australia. During those years she formed a string trio named Torrens Trio as well as playing freelance in various ensembles. In 2010 She married her husband Andrew and moved to the United States and brought with her the passion for chamber music and love of playing at weddings.

When Anna decided to move back to Australia in 2019, Maya Ginsberg--Anna's best friend and longtime violinist for Eliana Strings--took over the business and continues the high standard of quality for which Eliana Strings is known. In addition to her work as a musician, Maya is a lecturer at San Diego State University. Maya has been performing for weddings for as long as she has been playing the violin; she likes to say that she has easily 800 ceremonies worth of wedding experience!
